1. Hebrew: Timnathah (Gen. 38:12,14) "which is appropriately rendered in the Revised Version, Timnah, a town in Judah" (Matthew G. Easton)

2. a town where Samson stayed / assumed to be the same as "Timnah" (Judg. 14:1-18).
