Arkite

Hebrew: “Arqiy.”

The name “Arkite” is found only twice in the Bible, see: Genesis 10:17 and 1 Chronicles 1:15. It is the name of certain descendants from the Phoenicians or Sidonians, the inhabitants of Arka (Erek), 12 miles north of Tripoli, opposite the northern end of Lebanon.
