Show Synopsis: (from the producer) From writers Brandon Camp and Mike Thompson (“Dragonfly”) and director Mimi Leder ("Pay It Forward," "Deep Impact," "The Peacemaker") comes the story of JOHN DOE, a mysterious man who rises from the primordial waters of an isolated island, possessing knowledge of literally everything in the world, yet having no memory of who—or even what—he is. Doe quickly finds his way to Seattle, where he befriends the police and uses his special gift to help them solve “impossible” crimes each week, while continuing his unending quest to uncover who he is and where he came from. Despite his considerable charm, JOHN DOE (Dominic Purcell) is an emotional island unto himself. Want to know the population of Peru in 1853? How many blue cars there are in the state of Washington? The exact ingredients in a box of Apple Jacks? Or better yet, predict which horse will win every race at the track based on knowing all the statistical variables? Doe has all the answers. But what is he like? Family man or loner? Hero or villain? What is truly in his soul? Doe doesn't have a clue.

Usually Okay—John Doe holds the interest for me that saturday morning cartoons did when I was seven!!! It's the best show on TV next to Farscape, of course!

Usually Okay—The show is my favorite right now…but it worries me that the writers are trying too hard. Easy there. Don't be so afraid to let things evolve naturally…more lingering DRAMA please. I feel like we're in a hurry to get it over with…and that breaks my heart.

Usually Okay—It is a very good show. I think that more people should check this one out. You might even learn something if you can catch the "fun facts" that John throws out there.

Usually Okay—Superior programming. One of the true winners. I have enjoyed every show and am extremely upset that they would pre-empt any episodes simply to show a repeat of an old movie. Vary tacky Fox!

Usually Okay—I love the show! I've always enjoyed a good mystery, and John Doe provides it. There are very few shows that I watch faithfully, but this is one of them. My VCR has never recorded anything, because it needed an attachment to make the recording function work with my TV set (the VCR was a gift from a friend). I bought the piece that was needed the other day, just so I wouldn't miss tonight's episode because I won't be home in time to watch it. I've had the VCR for a year, so that should tell you how important the show is to me. I hope it continues to grow an audience, so that it will stick around for the long haul.

Usually Okay—I find it the best show of the new fall season. If it can avoid falling into a too predictable pattern, it should entertain for years to come.

Usually Okay—John Doe is one of the most exciting new shows on TV this season. With so much new viewing that is unacceptable for Christians to see, I really like this show and feel comfortable with its content. Great suspense, intrigue, mystery. I like it a lot.

Usually Okay—This show is simply outstanding… dialougue is wonderful; story is great; the huge question on who he truly is is simply mind-boggling and makes you want to watch more episodes to watch the story unfold. So far 2 eps have aired and I really want an entire season to happen. The leading star plays the role to a T and gives a great performance. FOX do not cancel this show like you do so many others that have potential i.e That 80's Show!!
