Reviewed by: Dale and Karen MasonSTAFF WRITERS
An animated version of John Bunyan's immortal classic, Pilgrim's Progress, this is an excellent series to use for family devotions or small-group study. A very well-written story with tremendous spiritual symbolism, Dangerous Journey introduces viewers to basic themes of the Christian life. Uses allegory, animation, and a compelling sound track to depict many of the challenges of a life committed to Jesus Christ. Animation is simple -- pans and zooms of excellent illustrations. No movement of characters whatever. Narrator does almost all character voices -- very good. This series should be seen and discussed by every Christian family! Sponsor this one for your church's video lending library. (Also available on 16mm film.) Year of Release — 1986
