VIOLENCE—How does viewing violence in movies affect families? Answer NUDITY—Why are humans supposed to wear clothes? Answer Every time you buy a movie ticket or rent a video you are casting a vote telling Hollywood “That’s what I want.” Why does Hollywood continue to promote immoral programming? Are YOU part of the problem?
Synopsis: The story of a tough, burnt-out, inner-city policeman assigned to remote Long Island precinct, and discovers a web of dirty cops and corruption. ![]() …below average, the only good part was with Anthony Anderson and Tom Arnold at the end.
[Very Offensive / 2½] —Lester, age 31 This was a very good action movie. It deals with bad cops and people trying to stop them. This is not for kids or people who get offended when the wind blows. If you like action movies, then this one is for you. Otherwise wait for “Pokemon.” There was too much bad-mouthing, but what do you expect these days from Hollywood.
[Average / 4] —Nate, age 32 Comments from young people
Despite all the fight scenes, noise and glorified violence, I actually fell asleep in the theatre. First time I’ve ever done that. don’t see this movie.
[Extremely Offensive / 1] —Christine, age 16 If you want to see complete action, then go and spend your 10 bucks on this movie. But if you want to use even 1% of your brain throughout the film, don’t waste your time. The action in this movie is even more unrealistic than others, and the plot is a complete cliche. I was only surprised once during the entire movie. The rest of the movie consists of swear words—so many that I lost count. God’s name was definitely used, complete with all those other terrible words. There was absolutely terrible lesbian like scenes and dancing in a nightclub. There was lots of completely nude girls with guys goggling, and even though the main character, Steven, was not involved with these nightclubs, the rest of the characters were. Even though I can’t say this movie is boring; I could say this movie is shallow. Don’t waste your money…

…bone-crunching, metal-ripping violence… …[Seagal is] puffy-looking, sluggish and resolutely uncharismatic…
—Todd McCarthy, Variety …thoroughly incomprehensible construction that passes for a story…
