“Whipped” is your basic story about some guy friends who meet every weekend to tell their tales about the women that they dated or “hooked up” with. During one such meeting, they suddenly realize that they’ve been dating the same woman for the past few weeks. Will their friendships survive?
While Whipped is an improvement for indy films (picked up by a major studio), it is still horribly subpar in its plot. These guys
are total jerks that play dating games. But the female lead is just as bad!
I just can’t recommend Whipped to anyone. I was disappointed. Don’t make the mistake of picking this one up at the video rental store. Morally, the language uses a lot of sexual references, foul language, and an attitude of looking at relationships to be sexual without a marriage commitment. Please AVOID this pathetic and shallow flik.
