Simply choose a page from the list below. Then read the checklist and style guide (below). If you find errors or other problems, you may respond by mail or e-mail).

Print out the page and mark changes in red ink or pencil. Send the marked copy to us by mail.

You can also respond by e-mail. Simply copy and paste the sentence or paragraph in question into your message and mark it ORIGINAL. Then under the heading, SUGGESTED CHANGES, indicate your correction or change (correct spelling, revised wording, etc.).

CHECKLIST—WHAT TO WATCH FOR

• Typographical errors, including missing words
• Punctuation
• Capitalization
• Grammar
• Spelling
• Consistency
• Excessive repetition of the same word (choose a new one for variety)
• Excessive redundancy or wordiness
• Bad hyperlinks

Also, feel free to point out anything that you feel could use improvement in content, style, formatting, conciseness, or accuracy. We value your opinion.

Our style guide for REFERENCES

For “references” or “endnotes” on a page…

• if the reference is a BOOK, it should be formatted like this:
  
  John M. Smith, Book Title (City: Publisher, 1998), p. 4.
• if a magazine reference:
  
  John M. Smith and George S. Jones, “Name of the Article,” Magazine Title, Vol. 2, No. 5 (June 1998), pp. 13-16.
• if an obscure magazine (add city and state):
  
  John M. Smith, “Name of the Article,” Magazine Title, Vol. 2, No. 5 (Pekin, Illinois: Publisher, June 29, 1998), pp. 13-16.
