Meaning: citizens

Bealoth is an ancient town in the extreme south of Judah (Joshua 15:24).

It id probably the same as Baalath-Beer (Joshua 19:8).

In 1 Kings 4:16, the King James Version has “in Aloth,” the Revised King James Version “Bealoth.”
