Hebrew: 'abel kerem

This name appears once in the NRSV, NKJV and NIV. It does not appear in the King James Bible, which translates “abel kerem” as “the plain of the vineyards” (Judges 11:33).

It was a village of the Ammonites, where Jephthah pursued their forces.
