Volunteer Counselor Application Form

Use this form to volunteer to respond to seeker e-mails received by ChristianAnswers.Net. Most are from people requesting Biblical information or guidance.

All information will be kept strictly confidential, and is only used by ChristianAnswers.Net for purposes of maintaining an accurate list of those actively interested participating in this ministry.

Age requirement: 21 years of age or older—Although we certainly appreciate the willingness of ALL ages, we do feel a responsibility to establish a minimum age for this particular task.

Faith requirement: Volunteers for this ministry must be:
• Repentant, born-again, Bible-believing followers of Jesus Christ
• Spiritually mature (not new to the faith)
• Having a strong knowledge of God’s Word
• Be in full-agreement with our Statement of Faith.

Guidelines for E-mail Counseling Volunteers

  • Be compassionate and careful in your response
  • Provide appropriate Biblical answers
  • If you give advice, pray about it first, seeking God's wisdom and guidance
  • Respect people's privacy. Information should be kept strictly CONFIDENTIAL (though you may carefully seek advice from other mature Christians, but do not provide them or anyone else with addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information that may come into your possession).
  • ACCOUNTABILITY—Send a copy of each message to us for accountability purposes. Although we cannot read all these responses, they do help us see whether you are responding appropriately, and we may archive them to keep a complete record of the interactions in case some problem or question should later arise.
  • Add this to the end of each reply message:
